Have you gone into the future and not come back? Are you stuck in an infinite loop sometime, just existing over and over in the same few minutes as your future self goes into the past? There's a theory that if you time travel, it is into one of many possible futures or pasts, and if you come back you may not come back to the same present, but one of many possible ones.
